About Us
EcoQuip® is a family-owned company located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. With over twenty years in the industrial and military sales markets, the Eliason brothers decided to put their talents and experience to work and founded EcoQuip in 2005. By 2007, EcoQuip® focused its core business completely on the coating removal and surface preparation industry for the military and industrial markets. While doing the necessary field research, the EcoQuip® team uncovered a void in the blasting industry and created the EQ product line.
While working with associates of Old Dominion University’s engineering department - specifically on flow dynamics - and with the contributions from colleagues like Donald Blair, our customers and team members; EcoQuip® has been able to fine-tune its product line and is proud to announce the introduction of eco-friendly blasting systems with the capability of blasting from low to high pressure, to match the needs of various applications.
We understand and appreciate the many challenges the coating and cleaning industries face from environmental agencies and the demands and restrictions those agencies have implemented. It is our goal to manufacture equipment for our customers that meets or exceeds their demands without sacrificing their production and profitability.
